About the Role As a Sales Development Representative, you'll be the first voice potential clients hear from One Step Secure I/T. Your mission: open doors, spark curiosity, and start meaningful conversations that lead to lasting business relationships. This is not about high-pressure selling -- it's about connecting, listening, and positioning our solutions in a way that resonates. Your success will be measured by the quality of appointments you set for our sales team, and your ability to keep our CRM clean and marketing efforts effective. What You 'll Do * Make 100+ outbound calls daily to prospects from provided lists and your own research * Create Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) that lead to First Time Appointments (FTAs) * Schedule high-quality appointments for our sales department * Educate potential clients on the benefits of our managed services, cybersecurity, and retail technology solutions * Keep our HubSpot CRM updated with accurate, detailed information * Work closely with the VP of Managed IT Services on special sales-related projects * Consistently follow up to nurture relationships with prospects who aren't ready to buy yet What You Bring * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills * Technical aptitude and the ability to learn quickly * High energy, self-motivation, and a team-player mindset * Ability to build rapport with executives on the first call * Tenacity to get past gatekeepers and reach decision-makers * A "never-give-up" attitude and persistence in follow-up * Previous experience in outbound sales, lead generation, or a similar role is a plus Why You 'll Love It Here * Be part of a team with a proven track record and strong company culture * Work in a place where your contributions are noticed and valued * Competitive compensation and growth opportunities * A supportive environment where advancing business and improving lives through technology is our mission OTE: $20-$22 per hour plus bonuses and commissions.
