Summary We are seeking an Outside Sales Representative to join our dynamic team at West Coast Sand & Gravel. In this role, you will be instrumental in driving sales growth by developing new business opportunities and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients. Your contributions will directly impact our mission to provide exceptional service and quality products. Responsibilities * Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling and networking. * Manage a designated sales territory to maximize revenue and customer satisfaction. * Develop strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions. * Negotiate contracts and pricing with customers to secure profitable deals. * Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of products and services. * Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities. Requirements * Proven experience in outside sales or a similar role, preferably in the construction or materials industry. * Strong sales management skills with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets. * Excellent communication and negotiation skills to engage effectively with clients. * Ability to manage multiple accounts while maintaining attention to detail. * Familiarity with territory management strategies is essential. * Proficient in using sales software and CRM systems.
