Job Summary Pet Palette is a national wholesale distributor of pet products to pet specialty retail stores and other retailers that carry pet products. We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Inside Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for engaging with prospective retailer customers through outbound and warm calling, emails, nurturing leads, and driving business development efforts. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of wholesale distribution and B2B sales, and experience with working on an order entry software. This position offers an exciting opportunity in the Pet industry with opportunity to make significant incentive on top of base salary. Responsibilities * Conduct outbound calling campaigns to generate new business opportunities and follow up on inbound inquiries * Engage with potential customers through warm calling, nurturing leads, and building relationships to facilitate sales conversions * Demonstrate product features and benefits effectively to prospective customers. * Assist customers in purchasing the best product assortment for their store(s). * Utilize software (e.g., Salesforce) to track interactions, update customer information, manage sales pipelines, and enter orders. * Collaborate with marketing teams to develop targeted outreach strategies * Maintain a thorough understanding of our products, pet industry trends, and competitor offerings to effectively position solutions * Provide excellent customer service by addressing client questions, resolving issues, and ensuring satisfaction throughout the sales process * Support business development initiatives by identifying new customer opportunities and expanding existing accounts Requirements * Proven experience in inside sales, B2B sales, telemarketing, or wholesale sales preferred * Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively * Proficiency in order management software and excel. * Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Bilingual is a plus for certain markets. * Demonstrated ability in outbound calling, warm calling, and lead nurturing techniques * Knowledge of marketing strategies related to inside sales activities * Ability to work independently while collaborating within a team environment * Customer service orientation with a focus on building long-term client relationships.
