Wholesale Account Executive C.Krueger 's Finest Baked Goods is a vertically integrated, omni-channel gourmet food gifting company specializing in made-from-scratch premium baked goods. This position will play a key role in driving growth across wholesale channels--building strong relationships and helping bring our gourmet creations to more customers nationwide. Position Summary The Wholesale Account Executive will lead the wholesale and specialty retail channel, responsible for expanding distribution, strengthening retail partnerships, and driving revenue growth across regional and national accounts. This role collaborates with internal teams to ensure product, packaging, and merchandising excellence that reflect C.Krueger's premium brand positioning. Reports to Director of Sales. Key Responsibilities * Develop and execute a wholesale sales strategy focused on growth in specialty retail, gourmet markets, and food service partners. * Manage and grow relationships with existing retail partners while identifying new distribution opportunities. * Lead wholesale account planning, seasonal line reviews, and trade show strategy. * Collaborate with Product Development and Operations to optimize assortments, packaging, pricing, and inventory. * Oversee wholesale pricing models, discounts, and promotional programs to achieve sales and margin goals. * Partner with Marketing to create sell-in materials, trade collateral, and promotional campaigns. * Track sales performance, analyze trends, and provide regular reporting and forecasts. * Represent C.Krueger's at industry events, trade shows, and retailer meetings to strengthen brand visibility. Financial Management & Analysis * Develop annual sales budgets, forecasts, and promotional plans by channel. * Monitor sales performance and profitability, providing actionable insights to leadership. * Evaluate ROI on promotions, volume incentives, and spend to ensure sustainable growth. Cross-Functional Collaboration * Partner closely with Marketing to align messaging, promotional calendars, and lead generation campaigns. * Work with Operations and Customer Service to ensure seamless fulfillment and an exceptional customer experience. * Provide feedback to Product Development on customer trends, product performance, customer insights & needs, and new product opportunities. Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, or Marketing preferred. * 3+ years of wholesale or key account sales experience in gourmet food, specialty retail, or CPG. * Proven success expanding retail distribution and achieving revenue goals. * Experience working with independent retailers, distributors, and specialty accounts. * Strong financial acumen and analytical skills for margin and pricing management. * Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a collaborative and entrepreneurial mindset. * Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and proficiency in sales forecasting and reporting.
