Full description of the position
Nash Insurance & Associates is an Independent Insurance Agency serving SW Florida for over 18 years. We are currently adding an additional Personal Lines Insurance Agent that does new sales in our Fort Myers, FL office. We represent the majority of insurance companies in the state of Florida for personal auto, homeowners, flood and all other personal lines products. We represent several companies that only write through a few select agencies including Frontline and Tower Hill. Excellent salary and bonuses. We pay 100% of your individual health insurance on a great plan, life insurance, and a 401k with a 5% match. Benefits for the Personal Lines Insurance Sales Agent/Representative: * Health Insurance (Employer Paid) * Life Insurance (Employer Paid) * Vision Insurance-optional * Dental Insurance optional * Competitive base salary (commensurate with experience) * Competitive commission structure * Bonus incentive based on individual/agency performance * Paid time off - personal time and holidays * Training/coaching provided Qualifications for the Personal Lines Insurance Sales Agent/Representative: * 2-20 (Property & Casualty) Insurance License is required * At least 5 years of sales or client-facing experience is required * Experience writing personal lines insurance products * Proven track record of trustworthiness, dependability and ethical behavior * Excellent communication skills: written, verbal and listening * Must be computer literate * Must have strong interpersonal communication skills * Must be motivated and determined Responsibilities for the Personal Lines Insurance Sales Representative: * Develop insurance quotes, make sales presentations, and close sales * Establish client relationships and follow up with clients, as needed * Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly client support.
