Client Services Representative / Customer Sales Coordinator Employment Type: Fulltime, Monday to Friday, 9 am to 6 pm Location: San Diego, CA [please apply online] Position Overview We are currently seeking a Part-Time Client Services Representative / Customer Sales Coordinator to support our operations in San Diego. This role plays a key part in connecting customers, sales, and production within a technical manufacturing environment. You will be the first point of contact for customers while also supporting the full order lifecycle--from generating accurate technical quotes to ensuring thermal spray-coated parts are delivered on time and to specification. Learn more at: [please apply online] Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Service & Liaison * Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries * Respond promptly and professionally to requests, questions, and concerns * Provide job status updates, reports, and technical information to customers * Record and document customer inquiries, comments, and complaints * Maintain strong customer relationships and report feedback during management meetings Order Management & Coordination * Process customer purchase orders and Requests for Quotation (RFQs) * Create and manage job travelers * Coordinate with production teams to ensure timely coating, inspection, and shipment of parts * Assist with customer account verifications and accounts receivable inquiries Quote Generation & Technical Support * Prepare accurate, detailed technical quotes for thermal spray services, including plasma spray, HVOF, and related processes * Review engineering drawings and specifications to support quoting accuracy * Ensure quoted pricing, specifications, and delivery timelines align with customer requirements Contract Review & Sales Support * Review customer contracts and purchase orders for accuracy in pricing, specifications, and delivery requirements * Support the sales team with lead tracking, CRM updates, and preparation of sales documentation Production Liaison * Work closely with production teams to manage scheduling and prioritize workloads * Expedite orders as needed and help resolve technical issues or deviations Required Skills & Qualifications * Minimum of 2+ years of experience in customer service, business office administration, estimating, or project support within a manufacturing or technical environment * Experience in a production or machine shop setting; thermal spray or protective coatings experience is a plus * Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with ERP and CRM systems preferred * Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail * Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Work Location: In person
