Position Overview: The Construction Sales Representative is responsible for identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities in the construction industry. This role focuses on building strong relationships with clients, accurately estimating project costs, and ensuring smooth coordination between the sales, estimating, and production teams. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of construction processes, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in sales. Key Responsibilities: * Generate new business through networking, cold calling, referrals, and strategic outreach. * Meet with potential clients to assess project needs, provide consultations, and prepare estimates or proposals. * Develop detailed and accurate project bids in coordination with estimating and project management teams. * Maintain relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business and referrals. * Track leads and sales activity using the company's CRM system. * Work closely with production and project management teams to ensure project scope, budget, and timelines are met. * Negotiate contract terms and pricing with clients to achieve profitable sales. * Stay up to date on industry trends, materials, and competitor offerings. * Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales goals. * Represent the company professionally at trade shows, community events, and industry networking functions. Qualifications: * Minimum 2-3 years of experience in construction sales, project management, or related field. * Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and pricing. * Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. * Proven ability to manage multiple leads and projects simultaneously. * Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. * Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Preferred Attributes: * Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset. * Skilled at building trust and rapport with clients. * Ability to read blueprints and construction drawings. * Experience in residential or commercial construction sales. Compensation: * Base salary plus commission (based on project size and profitability). * Performance bonuses and incentives.
