Sales & Buyer Representative Shift: First shift, Monday-Friday, 8:30-5:30pm (hours vary based on seasons with rotating Saturdays required) Job Location: Milan, IL Compensation: $18-20/hour (plus opportunity for commission) Job Summary: The Sales Representative contributes to our client's mission by maintaining established accounts to get their orders for wholesale plants/flowers. Responsibilities: * Ability to assist customers and growers over the phone and work well with Greenhouse staff. * Will sell/buy greenhouse plants. * Mostly sales position but also working on the floor to get to know processes and inventory/buying etc. * Entering product orders into computer. Requirements: * Greenhouse experience preferred but open to training. * Customer service and sales-oriented personality. * Good data entry accuracy and comfortable with computer systems. * Excellent communication skills. * Open to working within a casual work environment. * Ability to become knowledgeable with products. * Ability to lift 25lbs on occasion of potted plants.
