Full description of the position

Finzer Roller is a family-owned manufacturer of industrial rubber rollers. We are seeking an outside Industrial Sales Representative to cover our central/northern Ohio and western Pennsylvania (to Pittsburgh) territory.

Responsibilities

:

• Has a strong understanding of engineering and mechanical applications. Able to provide hands-on troubleshooting of customer equipment and processes.
• Understand the product, coatings, and applications.
• Know customer business goals and manufacturing operations to present product that is best suited for their needs.
• Use Epicor, the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, to enter and track orders and to produce quotes.
• Contact regular and prospective customers to explain products and solicit orders.
• Generate new business and ensure growth of existing accounts.
• Identify prospective customers by using business directories, following leads, participating in organizations, and attending trade shows and conferences.
• Answer customers' questions about products, prices, availability, product uses and credit terms. Proactively provide ongoing support to customers.
• Prepare and present bids and quotations to customers using company price and delivery guidelines and using sound judgment to enhance margin.
• Abel to travel 50% of the workweek. Some overnight travel required.

Qualifications

:

• 3+ years of outside sales experience
• Mechanical aptitude
• Strong computer skills: Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, ERP, CRM
• Professional verbal and communication skills
• General business acumen and demonstrated customer service aptitude Job Type: Full-time Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
