The Sales & Marketing Director at Lorien Bel Air plays a pivotal role in driving occupancy and positioning the community as a trusted leader in senior living. This individual serves as a guide and advocate for seniors and their families, leading them through the decision-making process with professionalism, empathy, and expertise. By staying attuned to local market trends and cultivating strong referral relationships, this role ensures a seamless and positive experience from first inquiry through move-in. Beyond achieving occupancy goals, the Sales & Marketing Director is a key driver of business development. You will establish and strengthen strategic partnerships with healthcare providers, local businesses, and community organizations to grow referral pipelines and enhance brand presence. Your efforts will directly impact lead generation, reputation, and the long-term growth and sustainability of the community. Schedule: Monday-Friday (weekends as needed) Compensation & Benefits * Base Salary: $60,000-$65,000 (salaried) plus commission * Earning Potential: $100,000+ * Vacation, Sick, Personal Days, and Holidays * Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance * HRA & FSA * Employee Assistance Program (EAP) * 401(k) with 50% company match * Tuition Assistance Key Responsibilities * Conduct community tours and represent the community to prospective residents, families, and guests * Build and maintain strong relationships with community professionals to generate referrals and admissions * Maintain awareness of apartment availability and overall community occupancy * Achieve census, occupancy, and annual budget goals * Review and explain community philosophy, policies, procedures, and admission agreements * Coordinate all paperwork and logistics for incoming residents * Execute daily internal and external business development activities * Utilize and maintain CRM daily, ensuring accurate documentation and follow-up * Respond promptly and professionally to internet-based referrals * Plan and execute quarterly marketing initiatives Qualifications * Prior experience in senior living, healthcare sales, or a related field * Strong customer service orientation with compassion for seniors and their families * Proven sales ability, including closing skills and goal attainment * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Knowledge of senior living regulations, policies, and procedures * Proficiency with CRM systems and marketing tools * Demonstrated experience in external business development About Lorien Bel Air Lorien Bel Air is one of the largest combined skilled nursing and assisted living communities in Harford County and has recently completed a significant expansion.
