Full description of the position
We are seeking an experienced and driven Sales Representative with a strong background in government contracts to join our growing team. This is a travel-based position with a home base in Nevada or West Coast , ideal for a self-motivated professional who thrives in relationship-building and closing complex deals. Key Responsibilities: * Identify, pursue, and secure new government contract opportunities at the local, state, and federal levels * Build and maintain strong relationships with government agencies, procurement officers, and prime contractors * Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through contract award * Prepare and support bids, proposals, and RFP/RFQ responses * Meet or exceed sales targets while maintaining compliance with government procurement regulations * Travel regularly to meet clients, attend site visits, trade shows, and industry events Qualifications: * Minimum 5 years of proven sales experience , preferably in B2G (business-to-government) sales * Demonstrated experience working with government contracts and procurement processes * Strong understanding of RFPs, RFQs, and contract negotiations * Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills * Highly organized, self-directed, and results-oriented * Willingness and ability to travel extensively * Valid driver's license and clean driving record What We Offer: * Competitive base salary plus commission structure * Travel expenses covered If you are a seasoned sales professional with government contracting experience and are ready for a rewarding, travel-focused role, we encourage you to apply.
