Commercial Flooring Estimator/Inside Sales- Continental Flooring Company is an Arizona based family-owned contractor providing nationwide flooring and ceiling tile services for primarily government customers. Responsibilities Include: * Building Commercial Flooring Cost Estimates from plans and specifications * Finding and determining all costs associated with the performance of a project * Preparing and presenting formal prime contract bid proposals and written presentations * Learning to effectively sell within our industry * Understanding technical aspects of the position in order to create accurate and intelligent estimates * Cultivate and maintain relationships with internal and external partners * Customers are primarily government agencies * Some travel may be required * Requires in office performance- not remote Qualifications include: * Positive, self-motivated can-do attitude a must * Knowledge of Government contracting a plus * Construction trade experience- ability to understand and read plans and specs * Eager to learn and improve oneself daily * Serious professional seeking a career in estimating and selling * Team player with a strong competitive desire to win * Excellent customer service skills * Proven oral, written and interpersonal communication skills * Ability to pass background checks to access government facilities * Detailed, organized and very accurate- fly-by the seat of your pants won't work * Punctual with ability to meet precise deadlines * Tech-savvy with ability to learn new and changing software * No prior sales experience required Excellent benefits package of salary plus commission with benefits including Medical, Vision, Dental, Vacation, and 401(k) plan.
