Commercial Flooring Estimator/Inside Sales- Continental Flooring Company is an Arizona based family-owned contractor providing nationwide flooring and ceiling tile services for primarily government customers. Responsibilities

Include:

• Building Commercial Flooring Cost Estimates from plans and specifications
• Finding and determining all costs associated with the performance of a project
• Preparing and presenting formal prime contract bid proposals and written presentations
• Learning to effectively sell within our industry
• Understanding technical aspects of the position in order to create accurate and intelligent estimates
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with internal and external partners
• Customers are primarily government agencies
• Some travel may be required
• Requires in office performance- not remote

Qualifications

include:

• Positive, self-motivated can-do attitude a must
• Knowledge of Government contracting a plus
• Construction trade experience- ability to understand and read plans and specs
• Eager to learn and improve oneself daily
• Serious professional seeking a career in estimating and selling
• Team player with a strong competitive desire to win
• Excellent customer service skills
• Proven oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to pass background checks to access government facilities
• Detailed, organized and very accurate- fly-by the seat of your pants won't work
• Punctual with ability to meet precise deadlines
• Tech-savvy with ability to learn new and changing software
