Heirlooms Sales/Store Associate - Experienced We are a fun and funky gift boutique in Fredericksburg, Texas, seeking to fill a part-to-full time position. PLEASE ensure your resume, contact info, and address are current/up-to-date! Shifts generally range from 4 - 9 hours. Must be able to work an average of 2 - 3 weekends per month. Pay is subject to experience on hire. 30% store discount after 2 weeks as an employee! Woo hoo! Job Requirements: 1) Must have a high school diploma or equivalent, prefer at least one year of regular retail/sales/customer service, or related work experience. 2) Must be comfortable and have some experience actively greeting and engaging with all customers, locals and tourists - everyone and anyone - all with a smile on your face! 3) Must be able/willing to work [most] weekends (rotating/shifting, as much as possible) and some holidays. 4) Must be able/willing to greet and assist customers,"float" the floor, ensure customers feel welcome on entry, and leave the store happy! 5) Must be able/willing to do everything from front store/floor (helping customers, sales, organizing displays) to inventory, restocking, cleaning (sweeping, dusting, wiping), etc. 6) Must be semi-tech savvy (QuickBooks Point of Sale experience is a plus!), and able and trusted to handle cash, do some basic math, and open and close cash drawer. 7) Must be able to lift at least 10 pounds of [usually] fun, cute stuff, reach up high, do some squats, maybe some light climbing, and stand "like a boss" for a full shifts.
