Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, meeting sales goals, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. This role requires a strong work ethic, a passion for sales, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment. Responsibilities - Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions, and addressing concerns in a friendly and professional manner. - Ring up purchases accurately and efficiently using a cash register. - Maintain a thorough understanding of store products, including features, benefits, and pricing. - Utilize basic math skills to operate the cash register, count change, and handle cash and credit transactions. - Assist with receiving and stocking merchandise, ensuring the store is well- organized and visually appealing. - Perform tasks such as opening and closing the store, as needed. - Operate the point-of-sale system and handle cash and credit transactions. - Maintain a clean and safe store environment, adhering to all safety protocols. - Participate in sales promotions and events, as needed. - Provide support to management in various tasks, such as inventory management and employee training. - Assist with supervising and training new sales associates. - Meet sales goals and contribute to the success of the store. Experience - Previous sales experience is preferred, but not required. - Retail experience is beneficial, but not necessary. - Ability to lift and carry items, as needed. - Willingness to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays. - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to handle cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently. - Basic math skills and understanding of retail math concepts. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Strong customer service skills and a passion for sales.
