Position Overview As a Sourcing Team Member, you will play a pivotal role in transforming innovative ideas into market-ready products. You will collaborate closely with our Design, Sales, and Management teams to source high-quality products, manage supplier relationships, and oversee critical production processes. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities * Source unique products across multiple channels (e.g., internet research, trade shows, supplier networks, and key sourcing resources) to meet demands from Design, Sales, customer requests, and Management, adhering to established deadlines. * Negotiate optimal pricing and terms with suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness. * Build and maintain strong relationships with teammates and vendors, ensuring clear and effective communication. * Collaborate with our China office to oversee critical product data, including factory audits, quality control, technical specifications, compliance, sustainability, materials, duties, tariffs, and costs. * Present new product opportunities to the product selection team on a regular basis. * Provide clear and consistent communication with Sales and Design teams at all project stages. * Monitor and report on all phases of the product lifecycle, including initial sourcing, pre-production, production, and ongoing product management. * Place production orders through the China office and follow up with factories to ensure high-quality output and on-time delivery. Qualifications * 2+ years of experience in sourcing hard lines or accessories (preferred). * Fluency in Mandarin is a plus. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, and Adobe. * Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and maintain a strong attention to detail. * Proactive mindset with the ability to anticipate and communicate project impacts across all relevant teams. * Ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. * Knowledge of or interest in consumer electronics. * Collaborative, hands-on team player willing to contribute wherever needed. * Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
