Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and customer-focused Part Time Cashier to join our team. Responsibilities * Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service throughout their shopping experience * Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for checkout transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing * Assist with product demos and upselling to enhance customer satisfaction and sales * Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves and organizing displays effectively * Conduct basic retail math to ensure accurate cash register balancing at shift end * Support inventory management through stocking, merchandising, and inventory counts * Demonstrate strong phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone or answering inquiries Qualifications * Previous cashiering experience in a retail or grocery store environment is preferred * Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures * Strong communication skills and bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customers effectively * Ability to perform basic math accurately for retail transactions and cash balancing * Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor * Supervising experience is advantageous but not required; willingness to learn and grow within the team * Knowledge of grocery store operations, including merchandising, stocking, and product demos Join us as a Part Time Cashier and become part of a dynamic team dedicated to delivering quality service while growing your retail career!
