Snack Innovations, Inc. is a rapidly growing better-for-you snack manufacturer and as our product offerings expand, we are seeking a detail-focused Packaging Coordinator & Content Reviewer to ensure our packaging is proofread, accurate, compliant, and aligned with both industry regulations and brand standards. Position Summary The Packaging Coordinator & Content Reviewer is responsible for managing the full lifecycle of packaging artwork--from concept through final print approval --while ensuring accuracy, brand consistency, certification compliance, and timely placement of packaging orders for production. This role requires exceptional attention to detail and strong coordination skills. Key Responsibilities Packaging Coordination * Oversee end-to-end packaging workflow, from initial design to print-ready execution * Liaise with designers, printers, co-packers, and internal teams to manage revisions and approvals * Maintain detailed timelines to ensure packaging orders are placed on time to meet strict production schedules * Track and organize all packaging files, proofs, die lines, regulatory documents, and version control * Coordinate and manage packaging updates for new products, reformulations, and rebrands Design Review & Quality Assurance * Review all bag and packaging designs for accuracy, layout quality, and brand consistency * Perform detailed proofreading to catch spelling, formatting, or regulatory errors * Review pre-production proofs, digital mock-ups, and physical samples to confirm print accuracy * Identify errors early in the process and communicate corrective action efficiently to designers and vendors Certification & Regulatory Compliance * Ensure packaging meets FDA food labeling requirements , including ingredient order, allergen declarations, claims usage, and nutrition panel formatting * Review and validate all 3rd party certifications * Confirm proper placement and authorized usage of certification logos and seals * Track certification renewals, documentation, and updates that impact packaging * Work with internal QA, regulatory partners, and certification organizations to ensure compliance with packaging claims during design process * Monitor regulatory updates (FDA, state requirements, retailer-specific guidelines) that may necessitate packaging changes Cross-Department Collaboration * Work closely with designers to ensure revisions are completed accurately and on time * Partner with R&D, QA, operations, marketing, and sales to review & confirm correct product data for packaging * Communicate regularly with packaging suppliers regarding specifications, lead times, and approval processes * Support operations and production teams by making sure all packaging components are accurate and available ahead of production runs Qualifications * Degree in Packaging, Graphic Design, Food Science, Marketing, Communications, or related field (preferred) * 2+ years of experience in packaging coordination, artwork review, or CPG packaging management * Strong understanding of FDA food labeling regulations and packaging compliance requirements * Experience reviewing third-party certification requirements (Kosher, Non-GMO, GFCO, etc.) is a major plus * Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines * Excellent communication and proofreading abilities * Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat; familiarity with Illustrator or design tools is beneficial * Detail-oriented with strong project management skills What We Offer * Competitive compensation and benefits package * Health, dental, and vision insurance * PTO * Opportunities for growth within a rapidly expanding company * A collaborative and supportive environment where your work directly impacts product success Pay: From $24.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: * Dental insurance * Health insurance * Paid time off * Vision insurance Work Location: In person
