Job Overview We are seeking a friendly, detail-oriented, and energetic full-time Barista & Cashier to join our cafe team. This role is essential in providing exceptional customer service, preparing high-quality beverages, and ensuring smooth daily operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in food service and retail environments, with a passion for coffee and customer satisfaction. Duties * Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other specialty drinks with precision and consistency. * Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and cash handling. * Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and process transactions efficiently using cash or card payments. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cafe area, including food preparation stations and seating areas. * Ensure food safety standards are adhered to during food handling and preparation. * Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including serving baked goods or light snacks. * Manage inventory levels of supplies and ingredients to ensure smooth operation throughout shifts. * Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and creating a welcoming atmosphere. * Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and food industry standards. * Support team members during busy periods to maintain efficient service flow. Requirements * Previous barista experience with knowledge of coffee preparation techniques preferred. * Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS is highly desirable. * Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse customers. * Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during shifts. * Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and sales transactions. * Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. * Flexibility to work full-time hours including mornings, afternoons, or evenings as needed. * Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
