Are you an exceptional Proposal Manager who can create compelling content? We are looking for a Proposal Manager/Coordinator to join our qualified and competitive government sales team that exists to help small companies grow. Work location: Howard City, Mich., Sterling Heights, Mich., Hybrid, or Remote Mandatory Qualifications * Bachelor's Degree in writing or English, public policy, business, or related field; or equivalent experience * 1-3+ years' experience in Proposal Management in a highly deadline driven environment * Proven ability to write compelling proposal narrative from scratch * Strong customer service mindset with a desire to impress * Proficient computer skills * Ability to follow oral and written instructions * Ability to operate standard office equipment and technology Preferred Qualifications * APMP Certification * Knowledge of public procurement * Experience in the consulting industry * Working knowledge or proficiency in Salesforce * Experience with EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) What you'll do. The Proposal Manager/Coordinator facilitates JetCo's winning B2G proposal process. They direct the overall development, maintenance, and execution of proposal development plans and schedules to develop and write a compliant and compelling proposal. Proposal Management (50%) * Ensure all information presented in a proposal is accurate and positively reflects the client's capabilities and meets deadlines. * Assist in analyzing solicitation requirements against the proposal outline to ensure both compliance and responsiveness to the client's issues and needs * Participate in the development and review of proposal strategies and themes * Manage internal color reviews for evaluation of the technical, management, and overall proposal approaches * Participate in client-facing activities Technical Writing (50%) * Write clear and persuasive content in a deadline-driven environment for competitive proposals in support of external client sales goals * Read, review, and dissect complex solicitation to determine scope and requirements * Incorporate win themes and differentiators in bid response * Draft contract compliance tools (contract compliance matrix, administration summary, etc.) * Draft government support materials (capabilities statements, government web-page content, etc.) * Build and manage writing indexes JetCo is an equal opportunity employer that prohibits discrimination and harassment in employment on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, disability, genetic information, height, weight, marital status or veteran status in accordance with applicable laws.
