Essential duties and responsibilities: * Assists pharmacist to prepare and dispense medication. * Mixes pharmaceutical preparations, fills bottles, etc., with prescribed tablets and capsules. * Receives and stores incoming supplies. Counts stock to maintain inventory records. * Cleans equipment and sterilizes glassware according to prescribed methods. * Ensures security of Protected Health Information as per HIPAA requirements. * Sort and disperse labels to prepare for filling. * Answer and direct internal phone calls, pull supplies for other department as needed. * Help front-end with Retail Sales Register POS . Set yourself apart Successful candidates will have: * Strong communication skills * Be organized and detail oriented. * Possess the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions and procedure manuals * Be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals and do Pharmacy calculations. * Team Player. Qualified candidate requirements: * Registered with the Florida Board of Pharmacy * Must be able to work part time or Full time shifts which may include weekends Store hours are 9 am 6pm. Mon-fri 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 pm Saturday * Must have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED) * Will have 1-2 years pharmacy technician related experience with general knowledge of SIG codes, DAW, basic Brand and generic Drug and good at Pharmacy calculations. * Computer knowledge * Ability to regularly stand and walk for extended periods of time * Ability to lift/move up to 35 pounds * must be willing to go for drug test and have no issue with Law.
