GENERAL OVERVIEW |*_Sunshine Bouquet, a leader in the mass-market floral industry, is looking for a motivated candidate to join our Vase Sourcing Team in Miami, FL in a supporting role to our Purchasing Coordinators._ JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: * Monitor and track incoming container shipments. * Work directly with (US and overseas) suppliers on shipping arrangements. * Spot-check arriving shipments, identify problems early on. * Organize paperwork for customs clearance. * Coordinate delivery appointments for container shipments. * Regularly update purchase orders to reflect correct quantities and ETA. * Help create (or update) technical spec sheets for our vases, including packing instructions. * Direct link with our production and warehousing departments * Work with operations on potential improvements for vase packaging and container loading, to improve the efficiency of our production and warehouses. DESIRED SKILLS: * English language (proficient reading/writing/speaking) * Spanish language (preferred but not required) * Good communicator * Detail oriented, analytic * Reliable transportation necessary * Proficient in working with numbers * Comfortable with software programs, willing to learn new software * Willing and able to take initiatives BENEFITS | Sunshine Bouquet offers the following benefits to employees, upon the completion of a 90-day probationary period.
