Job Title: Sales Coordinator (Irrigation Experience a Plus) Location: Yakima, WA FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Reports To: Store Manager Department: Operations Position Summary Orchard & Vineyard Supply (OVS) is seeking a Sales Coordinator to join our Yakima, WA team. The Sales Coordinator is a customer-focused, detail-oriented professional who supports the sales process from order entry to delivery. This role acts as a liaison between customers, internal sales staff, and external vendors to ensure accurate, timely, and professional service. Irrigation experience is a plus. We offer a competitive compensation package that includes: * Competitive hourly wage * Paid vacation and sick leave * 8 paid holidays annually Key Responsibilities * Coordinate receipt of goods and generate accurate sales orders. * Serve as a professional point of contact for customers, delivering timely and accurate responses. * Communicate regularly with internal sales staff, warehouse teams, and vendors to facilitate seamless order flow and fulfillment. * Assist with resolving customer complaints in accordance with company policy, escalating issues as needed. * Schedule product deliveries and follow up to ensure successful and timely delivery. * Collaborate with the Warehouse Manager to ensure accurate and prompt outbound shipments. * Ensure all invoicing is completed accurately and in a timely manner. * Maintain digital and physical filing systems and data entry tasks. * Support inventory control and basic sales-related administrative tasks. Qualifications Education & Experience: * High school diploma or GED required. * Minimum 2 years of experience in a sales support, administrative, or customer service role. * Familiarity with irrigation or agricultural products preferred but not required. * Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred. Skills & Competencies: * Strong verbal and written communication skills. * Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks efficiently. * Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); ERP or inventory systems experience a plus. * Strong interpersonal skills with an emphasis on teamwork and customer service. * Able to troubleshoot problems and resolve issues independently when needed. Physical Requirements * Frequently required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers, talk, and hear. * Occasionally required to sit, reach with arms, and lift up to 10 lbs. * Must have adequate vision to read printed materials and computer screens. Work Environment * This position is based at our Yakima, WA store. * Work is primarily indoors with occasional exposure to outdoor elements. * May be exposed to moderate noise levels from equipment or machinery.
