Route Area is Cocoa Beach/Melbourne out of Port Orange warehouse At DSC Sales, the beach is our business! Family owned and operated since 1985, DSC Sales is a distributor of beach accessories and sun care products though-out the Southeast, and beyond. Specializing in the servicing of the beach, beach access and tourist/resort stores, our reach includes Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee and the costal corridor running from South Carolina to New York. DSC Sales has a history of success in servicing large chain store accounts and high-volume stores via DSD (direct store delivery). Over forty professional service representatives and supervisors, with trucks and vans, operate out of our 15 stocking warehouses. The Sales Representative will be responsible for service and maintain accounts in the protected assigned area. * Applies knowledge of the field and product features to match products to the needs of clients. * Answers inquiries from clients concerning products, their uses, and the industry at large. * Ensures customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management; resolves any issues that may arise post-sale. * Load work vehicle with supplies as needed from assigned warehouse without assistance. * Unload and deliver product from work vehicle into assigned customer locations without assistance. * Expertly merchandise product on shelves and racking in customer locations. * Maintain assigned warehouse, receive and stow away stock, order stock if necessary, in your region. * Merchandising knowledge and skilled at training staff on merchandising. * Direct Store Delivery (DSD)/Route experience is mandatory. * Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail. * Must be able to work with little to no supervision. * Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. * Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with clients. * Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment. * Able to comfortably drive a medium duty box truck, approximately 20 feet in length. * Minimum 1 years of experience in DSD/Route Sales Job Type: Full-time Projected Total Compensation: From $40,000.00 per year Benefits: * 401(k) * Dental insurance * Employee assistance program * Health insurance * Life insurance * Paid time off * Vision insurance Experience: * Route driving: 2 years (Required) * Box truck: 2 years (Required) License/Certification: * Driver's License (Required) Ability to Relocate: * Cocoa Beach, FL: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: On the road
