Role Summary This outside truck sales opportunity is focused on helping prospective and existing truck customers make both new and used commercial truck purchases. Truck sales job description * Call on trucking customers on a regular basis. * Present the vast number of value-added services and products Allstate Peterbilt offers. * Maintain knowledge of the trucking industry and Peterbilt trucks. * Work with sales customers calling or visiting the dealership on assigned days. * Manage truck sales details such as specifications, scheduling, sales orders, pricing, etc. * Complete ongoing training. Territory Sales Representative Qualifications/Requirements: * Strong work ethic with excellent self-discipline and time management skills. * Outgoing personality and desire to meet new people. * Reasonable mechanical knowledge with the ability to learn quickly. * Knowledge of trucks and trucking is a benefit. * Customer relations experience within the Trucking Industry or a related industry. * Exceptional Customer Service Orientation. * A desire for unlimited earning potential. * A record of success in past positions. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications. * Some travel is required. * Commercial driver's license or ability to obtain one preferred.
