Dairy Sales/Genetic Consultant - Eastern Minnesota & Wisconsin CRV USA APPLY : Email [please apply online] to apply About the Role CRV USA is seeking a driven, producer-focused Genetic Consultant to expand our presence in Eastern Minnesota and Wisconsin. In this role, you will represent CRV's full suite of herdimprovement solutions to dairy producers, helping them build healthier, more efficient, and longerlasting herds. You will advise, support, and partner with producers with a "farm for the future" mindset. You will drive CRV's footprint by integrating genetic consulting with herdmanagement strategy, aligning CRV offerings to each farm's unique goals, and delivering sustainable herd performance and profitability. What You'll Do * Deliver comprehensive herdimprovement solutions -- position CRV genetics into an integrated guide to help producers leverage CRV's full portfolio (genetic tools + herd management tools) to shape the herd longterm. * Introduce new dairy operations to CRV's complete solutions, focusing on building trust and a long-term partnership rather than a one-time sale. * Deepen relationships with existing producers -- consult with them regularly to align CRV programs to evolving herd goals (health, productivity, longevity, feed efficiency, sustainability). * Utilize a consultative approach rooted in data: interpret herd performance using CRV's metrics, including proprietary CRV indexes -- CRV Health and CRV Efficiency -- as well as advanced tools like HerdOptimizer. * Support producers on-farm -- review herd health, fertility, hoof and udder health, feed efficiency, and set up breeding plans to realize gains in longevity, productivity, and overall efficiency. * Document and track progress -- prepare territory reports, track adoption of CRV solutions, monitor herd outcomes, and share market intelligence with CRV. * Represent CRV at industry events -- build brand trust and visibility by sharing CRV's philosophy of building healthy, efficient, longlasting herds. What We're Looking For * 3-5 years of experience in dairy genetics, reproduction, AI sales, herd consulting, or a related agricultural role * Strong dairyfarming background with capability to interpret herdperformance metrics (fertility, udder and hoof health, feed/production efficiency, longevity) * Understanding of wholeherd dynamics and willingness to advise on longterm herd strategy rather than only immediate product sales * Proven success growing territory or customer base through relationship-building, consultative selling, and farmerfocused value delivery * Self-motivated, organized, and confident working independently while collaborating with internal CRV teams and producers * Bachelor's degree in Animal Science, Dairy Science, Agricultural Business, or related field preferred Physical Requirements * Regular onfarm work, including ability to lift 50 lbs when needed * Travel up to 90% within assigned territory About CRV USA Since 1874, CRV has operated with the conviction that "Better Cows -> Better Life" -- for farmers, cows, and the environment alike.
