Commercial Sales and Marketing Manager - Metals Recycling - Base Salary to 140k/year - New Haven, CT * Our client is a leading scrap metals and processing company. The team is seeking a Commercial Sales & Marketing Manager to join their family-oriented company culture. * The Commercial Sales and Marketing Manager will be tasked with oversight of all sales & marketing responsibilities for the team including both international and domestic orders. Responsibilities: * Establish and maintain key relationships with customers * Foster relationships with long standing clients * Establish pricing for all materials coming in and going out of the facility * Support the setup of new accounts - credit ratings, terms, position needs, etc * Oversight of inventory levels and buying forecasts * Monitor month to month demand from customers & implementation of sales plan for team * Assist internal buying team with market data, pricing, bid support, and account proposals Qualifications: * Bachelor's Degree * 5+ years in similar Sales and Marketing role within Scrap Industry or related * Team may consider a Buyer or Trader looking to take that next step in their career * Familiarity with all types & grades of materials: ferrous, nonferrous, alloys, etc * Robust background of scrap business as a whole - operation standpoint, sales & marketing, key decision making, sales process * Team player with ability to wear multiple hats Compensation: * Our client is offering a base salary up to 140k/year along with a comprehensive benefits package.
