Bell Brothers Heating and Air Conditioning is located in Des Moines, IA. We are a trusted expert in providing complete indoor air quality and HVAC comfort solutions to homeowners in Des Moines and the surrounding areas since 1955. Services include heating and cooling design, installation and replacement, furnace & AC repair, maintenance programs and tune-ups, indoor air quality management, and commercial plumbing. We are Central Iowa's trusted name for existing and new-construction residential and commercial HVAC design, installation, service, maintenance, and repair. We are looking for a dynamic Customer Service Specialist to join our team, someone with a passion for serving customers, stellar communications skills, and proven ability to multi-task in high-volume environments. This position supports the Service department and is the initial contact to our customers, service technicians, and plays a vital role in providing administrative support. Answer incoming phones calls in addition to outbound calls. Back up the service dispatcher as needed to maintain the Service Technicians' daily schedules and dispatch the technicians as service calls are completed. Assist in taking incoming customers calls and creating dispatch tickets as service calls are received. Handle dispatch-related functions in the service dispatcher's absence during lunch, breaks, vacation, etc. Maintain customer database with current information. Administrative duties. All other duties as assigned. Qualifications: * High school diploma or equivalent * Pass background check & drug screen * 2 years related experience and/or training in customer service, project coordination, scheduling, or equivalent combination of education and experience * Stellar customer service skills * Excellent interpersonal communication skills * The ability to flawlessly juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment * The ability to cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients and team members * A clear and professional speaking voice as phones are a huge part of the position * The ability to type 40 + WPM with accuracy * Data entry, filing, and other general office duties * Knowledge of MS Outlook, MS Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel * Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail * General sales skills and aptitude * Must be punctual daily All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, protected veteran status, pregnancy, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other reason prohibited by applicable law.
