Account Development SpecialistTemp to Hire Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour (Firm) Job Type: Full-time, Temp-to-Hire Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Subject to change; Overtime required as needed) Location: In-Office (No exceptions) Job Summary We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Account Development Specialist to join our client's Inside Sales team. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for building and maintaining strong client relationships. You will manage the full lifecycle of account support, from initial outreach and quoting to project tracking and final delivery. This is a fast-paced, client-facing position that requires a "customer-first" mindset and the ability to solve problems creatively and professionally. Key Responsibilities * Relationship Management: Build rapport with new and existing clients through active listening and professional communication. * Sales Support: Execute essential sales functions, including generating quotes, coordinating samples, and managing proof approvals. * Account Growth: Comfortable making outbound sales calls to develop accounts and identify new business opportunities. * Inbox Management: Utilize Outlook at a high level to manage communications, set reminders, and ensure no client request goes unanswered. * Project Tracking: Use CRM systems to maintain accurate contact information and track the progress of various projects. * Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with internal departments to ensure a seamless customer experience. Requirements (Must-Haves) * Experience: 2-3 years of direct, related, or transferable professional experience. * Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to compose professional emails (including delivering difficult news with tact). * Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). * Work Ethic: Dependable and consistent attendance is a requirement. Ability to work a full 8-hour schedule with overtime as needed. * Soft Skills: Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and the ability to remain positive and solution-oriented under pressure. * Organization: Highly organized with the ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications * Education: College degree or at least 3 years of office-based customer service, sales, or account support experience. * Industry Knowledge: Background in promotional products or marketing support roles is a plus. * CRM Experience: Familiarity with CRM software for project tracking and data management. * Attitude: Energetic, positive demeanor with a willingness to learn and adapt to shifting business needs. * Travel: Willingness and ability to travel occasionally for tradeshows or industry events.
