Overview We are seeking a motivated and reliable team member who appreciates a trendy thrift environment. The ideal candidate will be able to multi-task, be outgoing and have a passion for fashion. As a Sales Associate and Merchandise Buyer, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive shopping experience for our customers and consignors while contributing to the overall success of the store. Responsibilities * Availability must include weekday afternoon/evenings and Saturdays (9am-7pm). * Sorting and pricing consignor drop offs in a professional and timely manner. * Store website maintenance and updating. * Greet and engage with customers to understand their needs and offer style solutions. * Process transactions accurately using computer terminal and handle cash with care. * Maintain knowledge of current promotions to effectively upsell items. * Assist in inventory management by hanging and steaming clothing, organizing merchandise displays and posting pics daily to our website. * Learn and navigate our inventory software system which includes consignor accounts and all merchandise. Candidate must have computer skills. * Maintain a clean shopping area. Responsibilities include, vacuuming, sweeping, dusting, bathroom cleaning and taking out the trash. Skills * Proven experience in retail sales with a strong ability to sell products effectively. * Clothing brand knowledge and experience * Excellent phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries over the phone. * Strong interpersonal skills that foster positive relationships with customers and staff. * Team player who is willing to work hard!
