Position Summary
The Marketing & Sales Coordinator supports occupancy growth by assisting with marketing initiatives and managing prospective resident inquiries. This role focuses on relationship-building, lead follow-up, tours, and community outreach under the direction of senior leadership. The ideal candidate is compassionate, organized, and motivated to help seniors and their families navigate care decisions. ---
Key Responsibilities
Sales Support & Lead Coordination
- Respond to phone, email, and walk-in inquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Conduct community tours and assist families through the decision-making process
- Follow up with prospects to answer questions and encourage move-ins
- Maintain accurate prospect and referral records in CRM systems
- Assist with move-in coordination and onboarding of new residents Marketing & Outreach Support
- Assist with local outreach efforts, including visits to hospitals, rehab centers, and community partners
- Represent the community at networking events, health fairs, and senior-related events
- Support digital marketing efforts such as online listings, reviews, email campaigns, and social media
- Help organize open houses, tours, and marketing events
- Monitor competitor communities and report observations to leadership Community & Family Engagement
- Serve as a friendly and knowledgeable point of contact for families
- Provide accurate information about services, pricing, and care levels
- Collaborate with care and operations teams to ensure smooth resident transitions Administrative
Duties
- Prepare basic sales and marketing reports
- Maintain marketing materials, brochures, and signage
- Ensure compliance with company policies and California Department of Social Services (CDSS) regulations ---
Qualifications
Required: Required: High School Diploma or GED / Preferred Associates Degree
- 1-2 years of experience in sales, customer service, or marketing (healthcare or senior living preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and professional demeanor
- Basic computer proficiency (CRM, email, Microsoft Office or Google Workspace)
- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation . Pass Federal and State of CA background check Preferred:
- Experience in senior living, healthcare, hospitality, or social services
- Knowledge of the San Diego senior care market
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field --- Skills & Attributes
