Overview We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Roofing Sales Representative to join our expanding team. This role is ideal for professionals with a passion for outside sales, business development, and customer service within the roofing industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating new business, managing client accounts, and expanding our market presence through strategic territory management and effective sales techniques. Experience with CRM software like Salesforce, as well as strong negotiation and analysis skills, will be essential to succeed in this role. Duties * Develop and execute strategic plans for territory management to maximize sales opportunities. * Generate leads through cold calling, networking, and marketing initiatives to build a robust pipeline of potential clients. * Conduct product demonstrations and technical sales presentations to educate clients on roofing solutions. * Manage existing accounts while identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional services. * Build strong relationships with clients by providing exceptional customer service and tailored solutions. * Negotiate contracts and close sales deals efficiently while maintaining profitability. * Utilize CRM software such as Salesforce to track sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline progress. * Collaborate with management on business development strategies and market analysis to identify new growth opportunities. * Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, sales progress, and territory insights to inform future strategies. Experience * Proven experience in outside sales, B2B sales, or technical product sales within the roofing or construction industry is preferred. * Strong background in account management, territory management, and lead generation techniques. * Familiarity with CRM tools like Salesforce or similar CRM software is highly desirable. * Demonstrated success in negotiation, upselling, and closing complex sales deals. * Excellent communication skills with the ability to deliver compelling product demos and presentations. * Experience in retail sales or inside sales is a plus but not required. * Ability to analyze market data, identify customer needs, and develop tailored solutions accordingly. * Prior management or business development experience will be considered an asset.
