Job Overview We are seeking a motivated Inside Paint Sales Associate to join our team. This role involves providing exceptional customer service and expert product knowledge to assist customers with their paint and decorating needs. Responsibilities will include interaction with both Paint Contractors, Pro Builders and Homeowners. Prior experience is desired but not required. Will train any qualified candidate. Key Responsibilities: * Communication with Painters, Builders, Homeowners, HBS Sales staff and suppliers to work through customer job needs. * Quoting of products using our POS system. * Presenting job quotes through email correspondence. * Placing of Special orders. * Keep store clean, stocked, and well merchandised at all times. * Custom mixing of paint. * Assist and participate in HBS events including occasional evening events. * Attend trainings and take advantage of self-learning opportunities to increase knowledge and stay up to date on changes. Qualifications * Computer and technology skills including: o Microsoft Word and Outlook. o Quoting software o Researching and gathering of technical information on websites * Good knowledge of paint and sundries. * Good communication skills both verbal and written * Ability to work with a team. * Ability to work independently. * A strong focus on exceeding customer expectations.
