Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sales Associate / Estimator to join a well-established manufacturing organization in South Minneapolis. This Sales Associate / Estimator role is responsible for reviewing RFQs, blueprints, and specifications to develop accurate cost estimates while supporting customer relationships and sales goals. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in manufacturing, estimating, and customer-facing roles. The Sales Associate / Estimator plays a critical role in ensuring pricing accuracy, profitability, and customer satisfaction within a precision manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities - Sales Associate / Estimator * Prepare accurate cost and time estimates based on RFQs, blueprints, and specifications * Compute material, labor, and processing costs * Review purchase orders, drawings, and quality requirements * Re-price existing jobs as needed * Identify and evaluate vendors or subcontractors for cost efficiency * Collaborate with customers, vendors, and internal teams to resolve pricing or scope questions * Maintain strong customer relationships to support sales volume and margins * Follow established work instructions and procedures * Perform additional duties as assigned Qualifications * 2-4 years of experience in estimating material and labor costs * 2-4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment * Experience in metal stamping or fabrication strongly preferred * Strong math skills (decimals, fractions, metric conversions) * Ability to read and interpret blueprints, purchase orders, and technical documentation * Solid customer service or sales background * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Strong attention to detail and reliability with attendance Pre-Employment Requirements * Physical exam, drug screen, and background check * Valid driver's license required This Sales Associate / Estimator position is ideal for candidates with manufacturing estimating experience who enjoy working with customers, technical documentation, and cross-functional teams.
