About the Position As part of our continued growth and strategic expansion, we are seeking a Sales Manager - EDM Division to lead and grow sales of advanced EDM solutions including wire EDM, EDM die sinker, EDM hole-drilling machines, and related products. This role combines technical expertise, strategic sales leadership, and strong customer relationship management to drive revenue growth across assigned territories and key accounts. Built by globally recognized OEMs, our high-quality machines serve the entire EDM market, delivering precision, performance, and productivity through modern features and the latest capabilities. Key Responsibilities * Lead the full sales cycle: prospecting, needs assessment, technical presentations, proposals, negotiations, and contract completion * Prospect, follow up, and manage direct sales opportunities in regions where no distribution is present * Call directly on AMTI direct sales and machine tool distributors and follow up on projects * Travel within our direct sales territories with our sales engineers as well as with our distribution network across North America * Prepare accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and market analyses for leadership review * Maintain monthly planning of sales activity and submit daily updates in CRM system (Zoho) * Ensure accurate and timely entry of all customer and opportunity information into the CRM system * Execute strategic sales plans in order to meet periodic or annual revenue targets * Always project a professional image through your dress, communication, and personal appearance * Maintain good business relationships with our customers, distributors, and sales team Skills and Requirements * Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills * Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value for customers * Proficiency with CRM systems (Zoho, preferred) and Microsoft Office 365 or similar tools * Willingness to travel extensively within assigned territory (typically 60%-70%) * Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Experience * Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in capital equipment, preferably in EDM, CNC machining, or advanced manufacturing technologies * Strong technical understanding of EDM processes, tooling, automation, and manufacturing workflows * Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a B2B environment Education * Related degree or equivalent experience Benefits As an employee of Absolute Machine Tools, not only will you help the company succeed and grow but also share in the rewards as an employee owner through our Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP).
