Position Overview As an Sales Account Manager, you'll be the face of Ceramo, managing client accounts, driving sales, and delivering exceptional service. This role requires a minimum of 50% travel to meet clients, attend trade shows, and uncover new business opportunities. You'll combine strategic account management with proactive sales efforts to fuel our growth and exceed targets. Key Responsibilities Client Relationship Management * Build and nurture long-term client relationships through in-person visits, calls, and emails. * Act as the primary point of contact, swiftly resolving client inquiries and concerns. * Provide outstanding post-sale support to ensure maximum customer satisfaction. Sales & Business Development * Identify and pursue new clients through cold calling, networking, and market research. * Deliver compelling in-person sales presentations and product demonstrations. * Develop strategic account plans to meet revenue goals and drive upsell/cross-sell opportunities. Travel & Territory Management * Travel extensively (50%+ annually) to client locations, trade shows, and industry events. * Optimize travel schedules for maximum client engagement and sales impact. Market & Competitor Analysis * Stay ahead of industry trends, competitor activities, and market shifts. * Collect client feedback to enhance products and services. Reporting & Documentation * Track sales activities, client interactions, and opportunities in CRM software. * Provide regular performance reports and insights to leadership. Cross-Functional Collaboration * Partner with sales, marketing, logistics, and customer service teams for seamless client experiences. * Share market insights to drive continuous improvement across departments. Qualifications Required * Proven experience in account management, outside sales, or customer-facing roles. * Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. * Strong organizational skills to manage multiple accounts and travel schedules. * Proficiency with CRM software and standard office tools. * Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently or collaboratively. * Willingness to travel 50%+ of the year, including overnight trips. Preferred * Experience in ceramics, horticulture, or related industries. * Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
