Job: Business Development Coordinator* Homewatch CareGivers of Portland is looking for a dynamic business development coordinator to join our team. The business developer coordinator is responsible for generating new client referrals, building relationships with community partners, and increasing the company's market share in the private pay home care sector by onboarding new, long-term clients. This individual plays a key role in identifying opportunities, educating families and referral sources, and driving revenue growth through strategic outreach and business development efforts. Key Responsibilities: * Market Development: * * Identify and pursue opportunities to generate private pay clients through community engagement and referral partner development. * Create and execute a territory growth plan targeting high-potential referral sources such as senior living communities, hospitals, physicians, geriatric care managers, estate attorneys, and financial advisors. * Conduct community presentations and attend networking events to increase brand visibility. * Relationship Building: * * Cultivate strong, lasting relationships with referral sources. * Serve as the main liaison between the agency and referral partners, ensuring client satisfaction and continued collaboration. * Provide education about in-home care services and value to families and referral sources. * Sales & Lead Management: * * Follow up with inquiries and leads in a timely and professional manner. * Work closely with the intake and care management teams to ensure seamless client onboarding. * Track lead sources, conversion rates, and trends using CRM software. * Strategic Planning & Reporting: * * Analyze market trends and competitor activities to adjust strategy accordingly. * Meet or exceed monthly sales and growth targets. * Provide weekly and monthly reports on activities, leads, and outcomes. * Administrative duties * * Contribute to organizational projects such as record-keeping and other administrative tasks as needed. * Take lead in organizing new client data/information. * Efficiently schedule new client meetings, in tangent with referral partner meetings. * Follow all office SOPs. Qualifications: * Proven experience in business development, sales, or marketing in the healthcare, senior care, or home care industry. * Strong understanding of private pay in-home care services. * Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills. * Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. * Organizationally driven. * Familiarity with CRM tools and sales tracking. * Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Preferred Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or related field. * Existing relationships within the senior care or healthcare community. * Knowledge of eldercare issues and senior services landscape.
