We are hiring for experienced account manager, customer service, or inside salesperson in Carbondale. A sales representative is responsible for handling an array of front-facing duties. Some of these tasks including interacting with customers over the phone, in person, and/or via email and social media. Throughout all of these interactions a Sales representative must maintain a high level of professionalism and present the organization in the best light possible. Each interaction affects the company's bottom line in either a positive or negative way, so a great Sales Representative must add value to the organization. Responsibilities * Manage significant amounts of incoming calls, 10-15 per day * Generate sales leads by making phone calls 10-15 per day * Identify and assess customers' needs to achieve satisfaction * Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication * Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools * Meet personal/customer service team sales targets and call handling quotas * Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution * Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and file documents * Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies * Take the extra mile to engage customers Skills * Proven customer support experience or experience as a client service representative * Track record of over-achieving quota * Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening * Familiarity with CRM systems and practices * Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters * Excellent communication and presentation skills * Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively * Proven ability to develop relationships and establish trust Qualifications * Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written * Strong customer service background * Proficiency in CRM software, preferably Salesforce * Experience in B2B sales and negotiation * Ability to effectively utilize phone etiquette and client services * Familiarity with technology sales and inside sales techniques Compensation * $18-$22 hour plus commission Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour Benefits: * 401(k) Ability to Commute: * Carbondale, IL 62901 (Preferred) Work Location: In person
