Job Summary We are a growing dirt, soil, and aggregates company seeking a motivated Sales Director to develop new business and manage existing customer relationships. This role focuses on selling fill dirt, topsoil, sand, compost, and related materials to contractors, landscapers, builders, and property owners. If you're self-driven, comfortable talking to customers, and enjoy working in a construction/agriculture-related environment, this is a great opportunity to earn strong commissions and grow with a local company. Responsibilities * This is a leadership role. You will lead existing sales reps * You will manage and optimize the CRM * This role exists to own and scale revenue across dirt, debris and compost sales * Prospect and generate new customers (contractors, landscapers, builders, homeowners) * Maintain relationships with existing accounts * Prepare quotes and pricing for materials and delivery * Coordinate with dispatch/operations on orders and scheduling * Follow up on leads, estimates, and completed jobs * Meet or exceed monthly sales targets * Represent the company professionally in the field and over the phone Experience * Experience selling dirt, soil, aggregates, trucking, or construction services preferred * Knowledge of local construction or land development market * Demonstrated management experience leading high-performing sales teams in a competitive environment. * Proficiency with CRM platforms for managing customer relationships and analyzing sales data. * Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close complex deals effectively. * Experience in business development roles with a focus on expanding market share and building strategic partnerships. * Excellent analysis skills to interpret market trends, customer needs, and performance metrics. * Leadership qualities that inspire teams, foster collaboration, and drive results. * Exceptional customer service skills to ensure client satisfaction and long-term loyalty.
