Sales Associate - Bicycles International (Full-Time) Starting at $15/hr Customer-Focused Fast-Paced Retail Environment About Us Bicycles International has proudly served the Venice community since 1986. We are seeking a motivated Full-Time Sales Associate who is a self- starter, enjoys helping people, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. No prior bike shop experience is required--just great energy, customer service skills, and a willingness to learn. What You 'll Do * Greet and assist customers with professionalism and enthusiasm * Learn and share product knowledge about bikes, accessories, and services * Guide customers through the entire sales process from start to finish * Build and maintain strong customer relationships * Complete an orientation and training period including Trek University online courses * Perform daily housekeeping and basic store maintenance tasks * Assist with merchandising, stocking, and preparing the sales floor * Use POS systems (Lightspeed) and handle basic computer-based tasks * Occasionally test-ride bikes for sizing or demonstration (must be able to ride a bicycle) Requirements * Self-starter with the ability to multitask in a busy environment * Customer service mindset and strong communication skills * Basic computer skills; comfort using POS systems * Ability to stand for up to 8 hours per day * Ability to lift up to 50 lbs * Must be able to ride a bicycle safely and confidently * Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented * Full-time availability (approx. 35-40 hours/week) Pay & Benefits * Starting at $15/hour with opportunity for raises based on performance and skill development * Employee discount * Paid time off and additional benefits begin after one year of employment * Flexible schedule within business operating hours * Opportunities for training, growth, and advancement Work Location In person - 1752 S Tamiami Trl, Venice, Florida 34293 This position is not remote.
