Location: Downtown Sarasota Company: SASS Shutters and Sunshades Compensation: $20-22/hour + commission opportunities Schedule: Full-time (5 days/week, including short Saturdays) About Us: SASS Shutters and Sunshades is a locally owned window treatment company based in Sarasota, specializing in high-quality blinds, shades, and shutters. We take pride in offering exceptional service, expert design guidance, and competitive pricing. Our downtown showroom is a welcoming environment where clients can experience our products firsthand. Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated, personable, and detail-oriented individual to join our showroom team. The ideal candidate is professional, computer-savvy, and comfortable juggling multiple tasks -- from greeting clients and managing appointments to posting on social media and assisting with light accounting duties. Responsibilities: * Greet and assist walk-in customers and potential clients in the showroom * Handle inbound calls, respond to inquiries, and schedule in-home consultations * Manage scheduling through company software and maintain accurate appointment records * Create and post engaging content across social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, etc.) * Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming showroom environment * Input and organize data using Microsoft Office and Excel * Assist with basic accounting, billing, and recordkeeping tasks * Support showroom organization, sample management, and product displays * Communicate effectively with the sales and installation team to ensure smooth operations Requirements: * Minimum 1 year of experience in customer service, showroom, or administrative role (home improvement or interior design experience a plus) * Strong computer skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) * Experience using scheduling or CRM software * Familiarity with social media posting and engagement on multiple platforms * Fluent in English (spoken and written) * Professional communication and presentation skills * Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail * Reliable, punctual, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment * Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and a "people person" with a positive attitude * Able to work 5 days a week, including a short Saturday shift Perks & Benefits: * Commission: Earn 10% of any sale resulting from your in-home consultations or showroom leads that close * Growth opportunities within a reputable, growing company * Supportive, family-oriented work environment * Hands-on experience in interior design, home improvement, and sales Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour Work Location: In personSASS Shutters & SunShades
