Location: Downtown Sarasota Company: SASS Shutters and Sunshades

Compensation

: $20-22/hour + commission opportunities Schedule: Full-time (5 days/week, including short Saturdays)

Position

Overview

: We are seeking a motivated, personable, and detail-oriented individual to join our showroom team. The ideal candidate is professional, computer-savvy, and comfortable juggling multiple tasks -- from greeting clients and managing appointments to posting on social media and assisting with light accounting duties.

Responsibilities

:

  • Greet and assist walk-in customers and potential clients in the showroom
  • Handle inbound calls, respond to inquiries, and schedule in-home consultations
  • Manage scheduling through company software and maintain accurate appointment records
  • Create and post engaging content across social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, etc.)
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming showroom environment
  • Input and organize data using Microsoft Office and Excel
  • Assist with basic accounting, billing, and recordkeeping tasks
  • Support showroom organization, sample management, and product displays
  • Communicate effectively with the sales and installation team to ensure smooth operations
Requirements

:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in customer service, showroom, or administrative role (home improvement or interior design experience a plus)
  • Strong computer skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Experience using scheduling or CRM software
  • Familiarity with social media posting and engagement on multiple platforms
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written)
  • Professional communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and a "people person" with a positive attitude
