Sales & Client Partnerships Manager Growth Path: Lead Sales / Director of Sales Hybrid | Philadelphia / NYC + Travel Philadelphia Table Company is a boutique custom furniture studio specializing in high-end solid wood furniture for residential, commercial, and hospitality clients. Every piece is built one at a time by a single maker, with a deep focus on craftsmanship, communication, and long-term value. We're looking for a relationship-driven sales professional to work directly alongside the owner and grow into the primary sales leader for the company. This role is measured by clarity, trust, and profitability -- not pressure or volume. You'll manage incoming leads, close projects, generate new relationships, and ensure what's sold aligns with design intent and manufacturing realities. What you 'll do: * Manage and close inbound leads (email, text, phone) * Meet clients at our showroom and in markets like NYC * Quote and close custom furniture projects * Generate some of your own leads through designer, architect, and hospitality relationships * Serve as the primary client contact through sale and handoff to design and operations * Collaborate closely with ownership, design, and production teams What we 're looking for: * Experience in relationship-based sales (custom furniture, interior design, millwork, construction, or hospitality preferred) * Strong communication and organization * Comfort selling high-end custom work without aggressive tactics * Ability to work autonomously while collaborating closely with a small team * Willingness to work flexible hours and travel as needed Compensation & growth: * Base salary + commission (gross revenue) * Higher commissions for commercial and hospitality projects * Performance bonuses at revenue milestones * Travel expenses covered * Long-term opportunity to grow into a Lead Sales / Director of Sales role If you care about craft, communication, and building long-term client relationships, we'd love to hear from you. Pay: $25,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year Benefits: * Flexible schedule * Health insurance Application Question(s): * Are you comfortable selling high-end custom furniture without using pressure, urgency tactics, or "closing techniques," and allowing deals to move at the client's pace? * Are you comfortable independently quoting custom projects and being directly accountable if a project is underpriced or unprofitable? * Are you interested in a role where, over time, you are expected to carry the majority of sales responsibility for the business -- not support the owner's sales efforts? * Are you willing to regularly respond to client emails, texts, and calls outside of standard 9-5 hours when deals are active? * Are you willing to travel and attend in-person meetings at our showroom and Gloucester City, NJ workshop as part of this role? * On a scale of 1-10, how organized are you in managing multiple leads, follow-ups, and long sales cycles? 1 = very unorganized 10 = extremely organized, systems-driven Ability to Commute: * Philadelphia, PA 19106 (Preferred) Work Location: Hybrid remote in Philadelphia, PA 19106
