Job Overview We're looking for a Licensed Property & Casualty Agent who takes pride in helping people understand their coverage and feel confident about their insurance. You'll manage your own book of business, build lasting relationships with clients, and work alongside a small, supportive team that values collaboration over competition. Duties * Serve as a trusted advisor for individuals and families--helping them understand their home, auto, and umbrella coverage. * Listen carefully to clients' needs and recommend personalized protection plans that truly fit their situation. * Provide accurate quotes, explain coverage differences in plain language, and make sure clients feel confident in their choices. * Handle policy renewals, changes, and billing questions with patience and professionalism. * Advocate for clients through the claims process, offering guidance and support along the way. * Proactively review policies to identify gaps in coverage or opportunities to save. * Maintain detailed client records and ensure all documentation is accurate and up to date. * Build lasting relationships through consistent, friendly communication--by phone, email, and in person. Requirements / Qualifications * Active North Carolina Property & Casualty license (required). * Previous experience in personal or commercial lines (preferred but not required). * Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. * A genuine desire to serve others with integrity. * Comfortable using technology to manage client accounts and communicate effectively. * Self-motivated, organized, and dependable.
