Full description of the position

If you enjoy connecting with people and you're confident in your ability to sell, close, and convert leads into leases , this may be a great fit. We're looking for a Leasing Consultant who brings both strong leasing/sales skills and genuine customer service -- someone who believes relationships still matter in a world moving toward call centers. At Burkely, we still believe in real conversations, follow-up, and people- to-people interaction -- on the phone, in person, and during tours.

  • Comfortable in a sales-driven leasing environment
  • Skilled at follow-up, phone calls, and in-person interactions -- not just email/text
  • Confident presenting, overcoming objections, and closing leases
  • Professional, personable, and genuine with prospects and residents
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and consistent with lead tracking and outreach
  • A reliable team player with a customer-first mindset Prior leasing or sales experience is strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
  • Convert leads into tours and tours into leases using effective sales and relationship-building skills
  • Conduct engaging community tours and confidently communicate value
  • Perform proactive phone and in-person follow-up with prospects
  • Manage guest cards, notes, and appointment schedules
  • Provide outstanding resident service and support team operations
  • Ensure accuracy in leasing documentation and follow Fair Housing guidelines
  • Assist with service requests and resident concerns when needed
