Custom Swimming Pool Sales & Design Consultant Company: Pools on The Gulf (POTG) - Tampa Bay Pools Markets: Sarasota, FL, Bradenton, FL, Lakewood Ranch, FL Compensation: Commission Based and uncapped Job Type: Full-Time, Independent Contractor (1099), Outside Sales The Opportunity: Year-Round Sales. Your mission is to expertly communicate the unbeatable value of a Pools on the Gulf (POTG) pool to every homeowner, ensuring they receive the highest quality pool for their investment. Key Responsibilities Design & Sales Execution (Your Core Focus) * Consultative Selling: Conduct professional in-home and on-site consultations with potential buyers. You will manage a large flow of company-provided, qualified leads, while also driving your own success through self-generation. * Master Design: Translate a client's vision into a stunning reality by designing custom Gunite (concrete) pools, spas, and complete outdoor living environments. * 3D Presentation: Utilize professional 3D design software (e.g., Pool Studio) to create compelling, detailed visual renderings and proposals. * Closing: Close high-ticket sales efficiently and professionally. * Value Communication: Master the art of demonstrating how POTG's national scale and superior construction standards deliver the best long-term value to the customer. Lead Generation & Market Management * Pipeline Development: Actively engage in self-generation of leads through networking, builder relationships, and community engagement to supplement the many leads provided by the company. * Local Expertise: Develop a working knowledge of local building codes, permitting processes, and new residential developments in your market. Qualifications We are looking for a creative, highly driven, and professional closer who is motivated by uncapped commission earnings and professional excellence. * Sales Drive: Minimum of 2+ years of successful outside sales experience in a high-ticket, commission-driven environment (e.g., home improvement, custom remodeling, or luxury products). * Lead Generation Acumen: Demonstrated history or ability to prospect and generate leads independently is highly valued. * Design Aptitude (Required): A strong eye for design and aesthetics. Prior experience with 3D design software is a significant advantage. * Pool Knowledge (Preferred): Familiarity with the swimming pool industry, particularly the benefits and construction phases of Gunite/Concrete pools, is desirable. * Professionalism: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and a polished presence. * Self-Management: Highly organized, self-motivated, and disciplined to manage a large, active sales pipeline and territory independently.
