POSITION: Creative Interiors and Design is looking for an Interior Designer/Sales Associate; whose primary objective is to provide exceptional service and passionately help people achieve the home environment they love. Creative Interiors & Design is expanding a winning team of exceptional design/sales consultants. We have a beautiful showroom with a wide selection of high quality furniture, artwork, accessories, lighting, rugs, and an extensive fabric collection. We have access to many top furniture manufacturers, hundreds of suppliers, and thousands of styles to provide the resources necessary to fulfill our mission. We've worked to establish and expand our client base as well as create a brand as a top-tier interior design and showroom company. Each team member is a crucial player, and is expected to integrate and fulfill our mission. JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY: * Greet clients through an "up" system and building a rapport to bring clients through the design process of creating a room environment they desire. * Learn, along side our design team, our 4 Step Design Process; 1) In-Home Consultations, 2) creating The Master Plan (using space planning, furniture and fabric selection, accessories and window treatments, etc.), 3) The Presentation, 4) White Glove Installation. * Processing orders on the computer and following through with orders to delivery and installation in clients' homes. * Working collaboratively with the team to fulfill client needs. JOB REQUIREMENTS: * Character: enthusiastic, self-motivated, goal oriented, knowledgeable, caring. Genuinely willing to learn and a teachable attitude. * Sales ability: previous sales experience, understanding and competence of sales process (i.e. from prospecting to closing), develop a client base, seek referrals. * Client relations: a track record of creating great customer relationships and a desire to exceed client expectations. * Design ability: previous design experience, passion for design, natural design talent. * Merchandising showroom: able to move furniture, hang pictures, accessorize areas. * Scheduling: available to work Saturdays, some evenings. * Additional: sales management experience is a plus but not necessary. COMPENSATION: * Starting at $4,300 per month base at full time (40 hours/week) * Health/Dental Insurance after 90 days * Incentive Program Job Type: Full-time Pay: $50,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year Benefits: * Dental insurance * Health insurance Education: * Associate (Required) Experience: * Interior Design: 1 year (Required) * Retail sales: 2 years (Preferred) Work Location: In person
