Full description of the position

We are seeking a highly motivated Front Desk Supervisor who also functions as a Sales Manager to join our hospitality team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in guest-facing environments, enjoys relationship- building, and believes in leading by example. This position is not a desk-only management role. The right candidate must be fully willing to work regular front desk shifts , engaging directly with guests and supporting the team on the floor. This is not a passive front desk position. We are seeking someone who: * Actively sells rooms , not just assigns them * Is comfortable prospecting for new business * Treats every interaction as a potential booking opportunity When the General Manager is off, you 're on--and when you're off, the GM is on. This role requires flexibility, leadership, and a strong hospitality mindset. Key Responsibilities Front Desk & Operations * Actively work front desk shifts while supervising daily operations * Lead by example with hands-on guest service and professionalism * Supervise and support front desk staff during assigned shifts * Handle guest concerns, escalations, and service recovery * Ensure brand standards, policies, and procedures are followed * Train, coach, and mentor front desk team members * Complete nightly reports and operational handoffs Sales & Revenue Support * Actively sell rooms, upgrades, and hotel services while on shift * Build relationships with local businesses, corporate clients, and repeat guests * Assist with group bookings, negotiated rates, and sales follow-ups * Identify opportunities to drive occupancy and revenue during assigned shifts * Support hotel sales initiatives and collaborate with management on targets Schedule Expectations * Must be willing to work evenings, late nights, weekends, and holidays * Schedule is designed to complement the General Manager 's hours * Flexibility and reliability are essential Qualifications * Previous hotel front desk experience required; supervisory experience preferred * Hospitality sales experience strongly preferred * Excellent guest service and communication skills * Comfortable making decisions independently while supporting team members * Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented * Hospitality-first mindset is a must * Bilingual preferred (Spanish/English strongly desired) What We Offer * Competitive pay with growth opportunities * Hands-on leadership role with real operational impact * Opportunity to develop both sales and management skills * Supportive management environment * Dynamic, guest-focused workplace Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour Work Location: In person
