About the Role: District 56 Farmers Insurance is hiring for our Insurance Sales Apprenticeship Program -- a full-time, paid training opportunity for driven, entrepreneurial-minded individuals who are interested in building a long-term career in the insurance industry. As an apprentice, you'll work alongside an experienced Farmers agent, receive one-on-one mentorship, and gain real-world sales experience while following a structured development plan. This role is the first step in a professional track that can lead to future agency-level career opportunities within the Farmers Insurance network. We are currently hiring across San Diego County , including: Chula Vista, La Jolla, Carlsbad, San Marcos, Valley Center, Poway, and Temecula. What You 'll Do: * Build client relationships and help individuals and families protect what matters most * Learn to quote, sell, and service policies across auto, home, life, and commercial lines * Complete licensing and onboarding with full support from our district team * Contribute to office sales goals while building your own book of business * Gain real experience in marketing, sales, and client retention * Train toward becoming a fully licensed agent and future agency leader What We Offer: * Base Salary + Commission + Performance Bonuses * Expected first-year earnings: $50,000 - $90,000+ * $4,000 graduation bonus upon successful completion of the program * $5,000 bonus after licensing and milestone achievements * Paid licensing support and onboarding * Weekly mentorship from top-performing agents and district leadership * Monday-Friday schedule with flexible hours * Paid time off and optional insurance benefits * Career advancement into agency-level roles within the Farmers system Who We 're Looking For: * Motivated, growth-minded professionals with an interest in entrepreneurship * Must obtain or be willing to obtain California Property & Casualty, and Life & Health licenses * Strong interpersonal and communication skills * Goal-oriented with a positive attitude and strong work ethic * Comfortable using basic technology and CRM tools * Prior experience in sales or customer service is helpful, but not required About District 56 - Farmers Insurance Farmers Insurance is one of the most trusted names in insurance, serving over 10 million policyholders across the U.S. Based in San Diego , District 56 supports a growing network of 60+ agencies and is known for its commitment to agent development and long-term career success.
