Our unique concept features hand crafted pastries, artisan gourmet cookies, an espresso bar that features unique drinks crafted by our expert Barista's in addition to a cafe selection of sandwiches and soups, salads. Classic Bakery is also a large custom cake producer and has been in business since 1991. Our Cashier / Customer Service candidate must read below: We want you if you: * Possess exceptional customer service skills and maintain composure under pressure - must be willing to go above and beyond for our wonderful customers. * Have multi-tasking skills and be able to use Microsoft, Google, and Email clients to follow up with customer inquiries and cake orders. * Ability to work Saturdays and/or Sundays. * Shifts are either 9:30am - 6:15pm or 12pm - 6:30pm * Have intermediate experience as a Cashier / Sales Associate * Build rapport with our guests that are normally visiting us on a daily routine. * Work well in a team format that relies on communication and accountability * Have excellent work ethic and be punctual * Always wear a smile and be willing to continuously learn * Be willing to grow and take on additional responsibilities * Present yourself in the best way possible at cashier! * Be passionate advocate of the Classic Bakery brand. Required and preferred experience: * Have worked in a sales or customer service position that required dialogue with customers. * Good physical stamina and energy * Great communication skills * Looking for a long term position that will offer growth potential. * Ability to close deals and make sales goals Job duties consist of: * Working front-of-house duties assisting customers with their purchases selling cakes, pastries, cookies, coffee products and retail items * Be responsible for handling virtual customer inquiries and sales leads as well as provide customers assistance with order changes and information on products. * Opportunity to beat sales goals and make quarterly bonuses. * Coordinate with production team to understand production capacity and order volume. * Assist with keeping storefront in tip-top shape by cleaning, keeping trays full, products organized and well displayed. * Assist our guests with their special requests, cake orders, order changes, and general questions in-store, via telephone, and email. * Occasionally may need to use company vehicle to drop off items or pickup products from vendors. bilingual and multilingual candidates strongly preferred.
